About

I am a photographer & music producer (Silk & Olive, SØXØ and DJ Whiskey Cat) based in the Pacific NW.  I use analog film, digital edits and music to create tranquil, dream-like environments. 

I starting shooting in 2012 after receiving a Holga camera as a gift. Around the same time I experienced a significant injury that kept me from favorite physical activities. I slowed down and started shooting in attempt to focus on the incredible beauty in this life rather than feel sorry for myself.

I'm drawn to quiet, solitary spaces and bold colors. Natural landscapes, plants, animals, and the universe are common inspirations.  Whatever I find therapeutic, real or imagined, gets woven in as both nostalgia and present moment mood.    -Andy Fish
